Thank you Finland!

We had some beautiful days in your environment. No we long for a swim after a tiresom strike.

How is the report going?

What about sharing experiences since home-comming?

The Folk song and dance group had their second workshop the 11. of May. We had less people than last time, but one new who enjoyed it very much. Arne thaught us a song made of Norwegian prisoners during the 2.world war and we danced to African music as well as a Caledonian set-dance.

"Work place project"

Two classes from our scool i Stiklestadveien have just finished their one week participation in different professions and work places. Mounths ago they started with writing CV and applications and they have visited different work places to ask for a one week practice. They have been in kindergardens, schools, hospitals, choclate factory, library and so on. When they came back to school they had a presentation of their experiences for the rest of the group. A young woman came back from a week in a kindergarden as a new person. She speaks much better norwegian now, even the local dialect. And she was so delighted! A young man was hired as an assistant in a school. But a third young woman, who had so much wantet to work i a shop, didn't like the work at all. Now she is really motivated for school, she said, because she wants to study i a university. Both good and bad experiences is useful in figuring out what to do in the future.

"Sulla meg litt"
Sulla meg litt,
du mamma mi,
skal du få snor til trøya di.
Vil du ha gule?
Vil du ha blå?
Vil du ha blanke, skal du det få,
på trøya di, du mamma mi.

Art as distribution of words.
Through several visits to the "Trondheim kunstmuseum" we have taken part in interpretation of art.

The "Pilotgalleriet" is an arrangement who offers free guiding for our students. How has this experience provided the adult learners with new outlooks and more language? Will they they keep up the habit of going to art-exhibitions after the end of the course? These and more questions will be answered shortly.
